This is a draft, not a legal document. It creates no obligations and will be replaced.
Kairos is in closed testing. Access is limited to a named list, nothing is charged, and no terms have been agreed with anyone yet.
What is true today
- Kairos may buy, hold and resell on your behalf, up to the ceiling you state. That is the mandate the product acts under, and it is recorded with a version and a date when you accept it.
- Confirming an order records it. Nothing is charged at that moment and nothing is held, so a piece can still sell before it is bought.
- Nothing is bought, checked or posted yet: buying on your behalf, the hand-check and the parcel are still being built. Until they exist, confirming an order records an intention and moves no money.
- The price you see names our commission on its own line. Shipping is quoted when the parcel is built; duties are billed on delivery.
Not decided yet
- Returns for a piece that simply does not suit you — whether, within what period, who pays the return shipping, and what happens to the commission.
- What a failed authenticity check entitles you to, once buying and checking exist: a refund, a replacement, or a choice between them.
- The commission itself: 25% is a default in the settings, and each membership tier carries its own rate. Neither is decided.
- Which company stands behind the service, in which jurisdiction, and under whose law a dispute would be read.
